Synopsis:
Every word we say goes through a filter. A filter of what we think everyone wants to hear from us. Sometimes it's what we think will reveal the least of our true thoughts, and sometimes it's what we think will get us what we want. Marie is a high school student, who thinks she's the only one who's realized that's what her entire life has always been about, one big snowballing lie to please others. The only thing she knows is genuine is the secret life she lives through her sketchbook. When she finds someone who accepts and encourages this side of her, she thinks she's found the solution to all her problems, until she realizes he's wearing a mask even heavier than her own.
